Some of the people from Skopje are hiding from the sun under the thick shadows, under the canopies of the Skopje trees, others opened an umbrella to protect themselves from direct exposure to the sun, others chose to splash the water at the nearest fountain.

Free Press notices that our fellow citizens mostly wear hats on their heads.

The Administration for Hydrometeorological Affairs reports that a hot week awaits us, especially high temperatures are forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.

"Until the end of this week, the weather will be sunny and very warm with low to moderate local cloudiness. It will be especially hot tomorrow and Wednesday, when the daily temperature will exceed 40°C and the orange level will be activated for the danger of high temperatures. Despite the high temperatures from Thursday in the afternoon and evening hours there will be a local occurrence of instability with torrential rain and thunder, especially in the days of the weekend when there will be conditions for an isolated storm with intense torrential rain, thunder, strong wind and hail," said HMRC.
