PHOTO | Joe Biden's granddaughter gets married at the White House
The eldest granddaughter of the American president Joe Biden, Naomi (28), daughter of Hunter Biden, married to Peter Neal (25) in the White House.
It was the first White House wedding since 2013, and the 19th since the first wedding in 1812.
Naomi and Peter decided to keep the wedding closed to the public. The expenses for the wedding were covered by the Biden family, the White House announced.
Naomi Biden (28) is a lawyer from Washington. Her parents are Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, and Kathleen Bouleh.
The previous wedding took place in 2013 when the then president Barack Obama he allowed the White House photographer Pete Souza to get married in the part of the White House called the Rose Garden, which borders the west wing of the residence.
