The members of the executive committee of VMRO-DPMNE, Igor Janushev and Vlado Misajlovski, announced that the candidate Danela Arsovska has a slight lead in the elections for mayor of the City of Skopje.

"On 50 percent processed data for the city of Skopje, Daniela's slight lead, a victory in the first round in Gjorce Petrov is expected. "There is a positive trend in all major municipalities," the party said.

Earlier, the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski declared victory in the local elections on his Facebook profile. In the address of the party spokesman, Naum Stoilkovski, in front of the journalists present at the headquarters, he briefed that according to unofficial data of the party, VMRO-DPMNE won or leads in most of the municipalities in Skopje.
