In front of the "Boris Trajkovski" Sports Center this morning, hundreds of people are waiting in line to get the vouchers for inverter air conditioners. The queues have been made because the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources has decided that the allocation starts today. For all the others who will not be able to pick up the vouchers today, they will be able to do the same at the premises of the Ministry until the end of this month.
The Ministry of Energy will award vouchers for inverter air conditioners to citizens
The vouchers are awarded at the Employment Centers in the cities of the country from 9 a.m. to 15 p.m., except in Bitola, where the sports hall "Boro Churlevski" will be open until 17 p.m. for the citizens of Bitola, Novaci and Mogila, and in Skopje, at the Sports Center " Boris Trajkovski" from 9 am to 17 pm.
4,1 million euros have been secured for this project, or there is money for about 6.000 vouchers. The call published in February received a total of 18.805 requests after the two public calls, of which 14.500 applicants are from the category of non-vulnerable consumers, and 4.305 applicants applied for the advertisement for vulnerable consumers.
The Ministry of Energy clarified: Vouchers for inverters will be available until the end of November
According to the published Public Notice for financial support through the awarding of a certificate-voucher for the purchase and installation of high-efficiency inverter air conditioners for vulnerable consumers for the year 2024, vouchers of 27.000 denars are provided for people with low incomes (income up to 21.000 denars for a single person, 30.000 denars for household with two members, and 35.000 denars for a household with three members). For households with four members, a voucher of 30.000 denars is provided, and for households with five or more members - 45.000 denars. In addition, vouchers of 25.000 denars are provided for non-vulnerable consumers from the Pelagonian and Southwest Regions, and 23.000 denars each for the rest of the regions.
