PHOTO: The victory monument in Tetovo defaced and plastered with pre-election posters
The pre-election campaign in Tetovo started scandalously, with the vandalism of the Victory Monument in the center of the city, which dawned this morning plastered with pre-election posters and scratched with paint.
The posters with the image of Besa's candidate for mayor, Bilal Kasami, completely covering the lower part of the monument, and the party activists, who were apparently impatient to mark the official start of postering before the elections, even spray-painted the serial number on the ballot paper.
Citizens on social networks send messages of condemnation for the damage to one of the last monuments dedicated to the National Liberation War in Tetovo, which has been desecrated several times so far.
