The famous designer Roberto Cavalli today he was buried in his hometown of Florence, where he died on April 12, at the age of 83, after a long illness. The final farewell brought together his family, his five elderly heirs, ex-wives and partner Sandra Nilsson, with whom he had a daughter in 2023.

Many well-known persons from Italy gave him a special honor with applause, and after the funeral service, the coffin with the body was transferred to the car of the funeral service. Cavali was sent off with tears and applause. He was buried in the family chapel in San Miniato next to his mother, they said Italian media.

There were few flowers at the funeral, as Cavali's last wish was to donate to Caregi Hospital, where he was being treated, to help the respiratory intensive care unit.

His large family bid farewell to Kavali with tears in their eyes. At the funeral were the two ex-wives, Silvana Giannoni and their two children Tommaso and Christiana, the second wife Eva Maria Duriner with the children Robin, Daniele and Rachel.

Beside the casket covered only by a large pillow of red roses and a black and white portrait of the designer was his last partner Sandra Bergman Nilsson. Sandra said goodbye to her partner in a touching way by kissing the coffin with his body.
