Lovers of the pop scene of the former Yugoslavia surely remember the beautiful sisters Isolde and Eleonora Barudzija. At the height of their fame, they "retired" and each devoted herself to her own career.

The Barudzija sisters were one of the most famous and popular singers in the former Yugoslavia, and today they live far from the center of attention.

Isolde lives in Germany with her husband since 2001, guitarist Zlatko Manojlovic. She teaches solo singing at the Music Academy in Dusseldorf.

Isolde performances on Eurovision in 1982, as a member of the group "Aska", then he participated the following year, and then together with his sister Eleonora sang backing vocals for Daniel Popovic.

The Barujia sisters were considered sex symbols, many women copied their style, and it was rumored that Daniel was in love with one of the sisters.

"I wasn't in a relationship with any of them, but I can't say there wasn't a spark," he said a few years ago.

Then, Isolde recorded a duet with Vlado Kalember, also for Eurovision in 1984, with the song "Ciao Amore". However, the music video for this song was banned in some countries because Isolde was bathing topless.

Eleonora Barudzija lives in Belgrade.

She says that the musical collaboration with her sister stopped, because it could not continue with the same intensity when Isolde moved to Germany.

Privately, she "calmed down", she is married to the composer Zoran Tutinović and they have two children, but not musically yet, as Izolda says.
