The Viz Air Skopje Marathon is being held today and in the period from 04.00 am to 15.00 pm there will be a temporary traffic regime in the streets of Skopje.

With the participation of over 11.000 competitors from 53 countries, this morning at 8 o'clock the 9th edition of the Wizz Air Skopje Marathon took place.

 

 

In addition to the marathon race (42,195 km), a half marathon (21,097 km), a relay marathon (two 10 km, two 11 km) and a 5 km race will be held.

Due to the biggest sports event in our country, in the period from 4:15 this morning until XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., there will be a temporary traffic regime in the streets of Skopje. The organizers of the Wizz Air Skopje Marathon appeal to all citizens to respect the posted traffic signs and use alternative traffic solutions.

The following streets will be closed to traffic: st. Dimitrie Chupovski, part of Kliment Ohridski Boulevard, Saint Cyril and Methodius Street, Metropolitan Teodosij Gologanov Street, Vasil Chakalarov Street, 11th Oktomvri Street, part of Krushevska Republika Boulevard, Yeseninova Street, Third Macedonian Brigade, Serbia Boulevard (the right lane from the traffic lights with the intersection of Jane Sandanski Boulevard to the traffic lights at Krstot), part of Jane Sandanski Boulevard (one lane from the traffic lights at Majcin Dom to the traffic lights at Serbia Boulevard).
