The sports hall intended for the University "St. Kiril i Metodij" - Skopje (UKIM) built 3 years ago on the campus behind the Faculty of Economics, has been turned into a landfill full of rubble, waste with demolished baskets and chairs, announced Radio Moff. As the portal says, now anyone can enter it, because the hall has been left without a door. The facility whose foundations were laid back in 2013 is now completely neglected, ruined and left at the mercy of a public toilet.

For the construction of the gym, which is the responsibility of the Agency for Youth and Sports (AMS) and was part of the project for the construction of 35 gyms by the Government, 2,5 million euros were allocated from the state budget. The tender belonged to the Company for construction, trade and services "Alkonproekt" from Skopje.

At the moment, the Agency for Youth and Sports has only the logo above the main entrance of the hall, which decomposes daily in its own waste, writes the portal of Radio MOF. From the outside, apart from the removed door and a few broken windows, the building is completely finished and, apart from the various graffiti on the facade, it looks almost decent.

The real shock starts inside. In the middle of the hall are the broken and thrown baskets and displaced goals, and the nets hang together with the numerous cobwebs. In addition to the small trash that gives signs that the hall serves as a container for unscrupulous citizens every day, the floor of the hall is stained with urine stains, and red chairs from the stands, glass and other construction materials and plastic objects are scattered on it.

Almost ten years ago, when the building's foundation stone was laid, the then Government promised that the construction of the hall would last two years and then the building would be handed over to UKIM.

A decade after the announcement of the ultramodern hall that the students of the four faculties of this campus were to receive, it is ready, but it is still not able to serve as a space where regular classes on the subject of Sport and Health should be held.
