Weekend is a period when you can enjoy the taste of delicious homemade burek prepared with ready-made crusts.

Be sure to save this recipe, because you have not tried a tastier burek. Although it is prepared with ready-made crusts, and not with pancakes, you will not notice the difference at all.

Ingredients needed:

- 500 g of finished crusts

- 200 ml of mineral water

- 100 ml of cooking oil

- 1 packet of baking powder

- 500 g minced meat

- 1 medium onion, finely chopped

- 1 teaspoon of mixed dried vegetables

- 2 tablespoons cooking oil

- salt and ground black pepper to taste.

Prepare

First, prepare the pan in which you will prepare the burek. Grease a round pan number 32 with cooking oil. In a side bowl, mix the mineral water, cooking oil and baking powder.

Start frying the finely chopped onion in a pan of heated oil. Add the minced meat and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Add the mixed dried vegetables and season with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Cook for about 10 minutes until the meat is completely cooked.

Take two crusts and place them in the pre-prepared pan so that the ends hang out of the pan.

Spray the liquid with mineral water and oil. Take three or four crusts, fold them and place them in the middle of the pan. Sprinkle with the liquid and apply from the minced meat filling. Crush three or four crusts again, place them in the middle and spray with the liquid. Apply from the filling and repeat until you have two crusts left.

Cover the whole pan with the last two crusts, leaving the ends hanging out of the pan.

Fold the lower and upper ends inwards and pour in the remaining liquid.

Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 30-40 minutes, or until it gets a nice golden brown color.

Allow the burek to cool slightly, then cut into pieces and serve with a cup of yogurt.
