Yesterday, police officers from the Department for Suppression of Organized and Serious Crime - Unit for Serious Crime and Crimes Against Cultural Heritage, after previously receiving information that B.B. (39) from the village Visoka Maala, municipality of Vasilevo, has archaeological objects that are the subject of a criminal offense under Art. 265 of the Criminal Code "appropriation of goods under temporary protection or cultural heritage or natural rarities", in coordination with police officers from SVR Strumica, performed an inspection of a passenger vehicle "Opel Vectra" with Strumica registration plates, which was driven by B.B..

276 coins, three spear tips, 10 rings, as well as other items representing goods under temporary protection or cultural heritage or natural rarities were found. B.B. is deprived of liberty and after documenting the case, an appropriate criminal report will be filed.
