PHOTO: A military convoy with new JLTV light armored vehicles for the Army has arrived
The Ministry of Defense informs that a military convoy has arrived with new Army vehicles - JLTV Oshkosh light armored vehicles, which are of American production.
- The JLTV light armored vehicles are part of the process of modernization and equipping the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia in accordance with NATO standards and will support the Light Infantry Battalion Group in Shtip, which is also our NATO unit, the Ministry of Defense announced today.
The "Procurement of light armored wheeled vehicles" project was launched in 2019 with the conclusion of agreements between the governments of the Republic of North Macedonia and the United States. So far, 32 vehicles of this type have arrived
