PHOTO | Five people died in the strong storm in Corsica
In the strong storms that affected the French island of Corsica, five people died and at least 12 people were injured.
The French Minister of the Interior is expected to arrive at the site this afternoon Gerard Darmanan.
The Prime Minister Elizabeth Bourne via Twitter sent a message to those affected by the bad weather in Corsica as well as to the rescue teams.

The meteorological service said that during the strong storm that hit Corsica, winds sometimes reached speeds of up to 225 kilometers per hour.
