To recall, Jelena Jovanova and Stjepan Peric met during the filming of the series "Secrets" (2013), which was a great success in Croatia, but also in the entire region.

Jovanova and Perić got married in November 2015, and they celebrated their wedding in Zagreb.

In an interview with "Sloboden Pechat", the actress spoke about how she and her husband balance career and parenthood.

"Knowing the nature of our work, what it requires, working hours that are not standard - it would certainly have brought a greater challenge if I had not shared my life with a person from the same industry. Not just from a parenting perspective. We still manage to keep up with each other wherever our work takes us. We make that choice consciously. I don't like it when I hear the mother praising the father for helping her with the children. There is nothing to help. The perception is wrong. Simply, the child is his and the responsibilities are equal. We try to be equal members in each segment, that everyone respects their own free time, but let us also afford the common one," she said.
