Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said his forces now have full control over the Russian city of Suja in the Kursk region, following their incursion into Russian territory.

The city, the largest Ukraine has so far captured, had a pre-war population of around 5.000.

Footage taken today in Ukraine's Sumy region, close to the border with Russia's Kursk region, shows Ukrainian soldiers returning from combat with a captured Russian tank.

They also appeared to have taken a sign from a village in the Kursk region as a trophy that read "Lubimovka".

Zelenskyi said today that a command office was established in Suja today.
