Today was held the jubilee 50th Ohrid Swimming Marathon in which Axel Raymond from France triumphed with a time of 5: 10.31 hours. on the 25 km long race from Sveti Naum to Ohrid.

Edoardo Stokino from Italy was on the second position (5: 10.32), and Evgenij Pop Acev from Macedonia was on the third position (5: 10.34).

The fourth place went to the Dutchman Marcel Sutten, and the fifth place went to the Argentine Matthias Diaz Hernandez.

In the women's competition of seven swimmers, Oshan Cassinol celebrated the completion of a French double victory at the Ohrid Marathon.

- It can be said that I am satisfied, even though I was close to the first place. Third place is a good success for me, with such strong competition. The race was good, interesting, we fought until the very end. They decided for a few seconds, in the end the sprint was decisive. In the end, the best won, Axel is the world champion in 25 km, European champion of the year, he was the favorite and deservedly won - said Pop Acev for the Macedonian Radio Television (MRT).
