The Hollywood actress Ann Hathaway was "caught" by the paparazzi with a new hair color, and became blonde due to the need for a new crime drama in which she starred.

Hathaway has long been known for her dark, thick hair, but now she has made a real transformation. For the purposes of the movie "Elieen", in which she plays the main role, the actress dyes her hair platinum blonde and looks completely different from the way we are used to seeing her.

The plot of the book "Elieen", which was compared to "Gone Girl", is set in the early sixties and describes the life of a woman named Eileen Dunlop, who works as a secretary in a prison for boys.

As she balances her hard work and cares for her alcoholic father, she "alleviates her gloomy days with eerie fantasies and dreams of escaping to a big city."

Hathaway last starred in "The Witches" in 2019, directed by Robert Zemeckis.
