Bayern Munich officially presented him today Thomas Tuchel.

The German signed a contract until 2025 and this is his first engagement since leaving Chelsea in September.

"The timing was very surprising, I didn't expect it in the least because there was no contact. I expected to continue my career abroad. I had my first conversation with Bayern on Tuesday. The size of the club was the deciding factor and so this is exactly what I wanted. I was in contact with people from the club in the past, but I never wanted to impose myself. "Now the whole situation was happening too fast," said Tuchel.

Negotiations with Bayern took place so quickly that even his professional staff was not ready.

"They weren't ready for this either, so I thank them for their flexibility," revealed the German strategist.

He will start working at Bayern on Monday, but he will have all the players available only on Wednesday due to the national team break.

"We don't have much time. I probably won't see all the football players until Thursday or Friday. But the important thing is that we are in the game for all the trophies. And then I don't have a show waiting for me, but I'm ready and optimistic. I want us to fight for all the trophies," said Tuchel.

In his first game on the Bayern bench, Tuchel will lead the team against his former club, Borussia Dortmund, on April 1. In the Bundesliga table, the Bavarians are one point behind their big rivals.
