Filipce: Two of the injured patients are hospitalized for Plastic Surgery

The Ministry of Health informs that a 17-year-old patient and a 49-year-old patient, injured in a car accident that occurred on the highway "Struma" in the Republic of Bulgaria this morning were transferred to the UCC "Mother Teresa" in Skopje for treatment.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Venko Filipce, welcomed the patients and in a statement to the media said that both are stable, they have minor injuries, were detained for treatment at the Clinic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

-Patients will be kept under observation and according to how long they should stay they will be hospitalized after which an assessment will be made to be discharged for further home treatment. Colleagues from Psychiatry arrived in order to give psychological help, which is very important at this moment. We are fully prepared to take over these patients and continue treatment - said Minister Venko Filipce.

The remaining patients being treated in Sofia will be discharged in stages depending on their condition.
