Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said today that Turkey will join South Africa's genocide lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague on Wednesday.

Fidan said this at a press conference in Cairo.

Turkey announced in May that it had decided to join the case brought by South Africa as it stepped up measures against Israel over its attack on Gaza and that it would do so after the necessary legal preparations.
