Over the past decades, the term "street fashion" has been commonly used around the world as a representative of youth fashion. It is widely accepted that street fashion springs from the youth subculture to a much greater extent than from professional designers. The reason for the widespread acceptance of street fashion by young people is because it comes from the most basic levels, thus reflecting the open interest of young people. Street style undeniably reveals that many people have developed a sense of fashion and that many fashion stars appear and promote themselves through street photography.

So what is the impression of the street looks that are spread on our streets, we asked the fashion enthusiast Ana Chalovska from the fashion blog "Skopje is worn", where the most interesting urban characters with unique style are archived and presented to the public.

"I'm glad to see young, but also older people who know how to behave, 'radiate', who tell their own story, something that is not superficial, people who stand out with their aura. Inspiration for change for the better, fresh air and salvation from the fashion routine. They represent the significance of the fashion and cultural archive of a period, especially when the city loses its urban morphology, they make up the "spirit" of Skopje. An important tool is self-reflection, to be aware of how our style illustrates us as a person, to give ourselves space to understand exactly what we want to show.
