French champions PSG have agreed the transfer of Fabian Ruiz from Napoli, who should strengthen the midfield.

The two teams agreed on the compensation, it will amount to 25 million euros, and the Spaniard will sign a five-year contract with the Saints. Initially, Napoli demanded 30 million euros, while PSG offered 10 million less, but in the end the player's desire to move to Paris ruled and the two teams found themselves in the middle.

Ruiz previously agreed on personal terms with the French team and will collect six million euros per year.

Fabian Ruiz arrived in Napoli from Betis in 2018 and played 125 games for the Italian team and scored 18 goals. Ruiz has also made 15 appearances for the Spanish national team and has scored one goal.
