The euro touched the historical minimum in exchange with the Albanian lek

The common European currency, the euro, has reached a historic low in exchange with the Albanian currency, the drug.
"Today, one euro was exchanged for 107,4 lek, which is a 10 percent drop in value over a period of one year. "In the last few months, the euro has lost 3,5 percent of its value in relation to the drug, and this is due to several factors, starting from foreign investments in real estate in Albania, all the way to exchange operations in large amounts," Top Channel reported.
Data from the Central Bank of Albania show that property purchases by foreign nationals reached a historic high last year, reaching a value of 291 million euros, with an annual growth of 52 percent. According to the bank, the purchase of property by foreign citizens increases the supply of the European currency in the country, which affects its devaluation.
