The European Council adopted the conclusion on the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue
In the conclusions of the first day of the Summit, the leaders of the European Union welcomed the agreement on the road to the normalization of relations reached by Belgrade and Pristina, as well as the annex for implementation, which was reached through the Dialogue led by the high representative of the EU.
In the conclusions after the meeting, in point number 25, which refers to Belgrade and Pristina, it is stated that the agreement was reached as an integral part of their European path. Both parties are called upon to implement their obligations expediently and in good faith.
The high representative of the EU for foreign and security policy, Josep Borel, previously stated that the agreement reached in Ohrid will be an integral part of the European road between Belgrade and Pristina.
He added that the document will be part of the negotiating chapters of the EU with Serbia, as well as that it will be part of the conditions that Pristina has to fulfill.
In Ohrid, where a meeting within the Dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina was held on March 18, Borel announced that he would inform the ministers about the discussions that took place and that he would do the same at the EU Heads of State and Government Summit.
