The players of Spain and Sweden played the first goalless match at Euro 2020.

Spain coach Luis Enrique put out a strong team, but with one surprise, instead of the standard Thiago Alcantara, the Barcelona player Pedri was in the first team.
Despite that, the "red fury" started offensively from the first minute and completely controlled the game and dominated, the chances lined up but without effect. Twice Koke found himself in a great opportunity, Dani Olmo shot with his head, while Alvaro Morata had the best chance but missed the goal.

The penalty for the misses would come at the end of the first part when Alexander Isak whose shot on the goal line was stopped by Marcos Llorente.
In the second half, Spain increased the pressure, but failed to find a way to beat the great Robin Olsen, and had the last chance in the 90th minute when Moreno shot with his head from five meters into the Swedish goalkeeper stopped his shot.
In the second round, Spain will try to get out for the mistake against Poland, while Sweden will play against Slovakia.
