Everton and Chelsea played for 110 minutes, Jorginho decided the game
The Chelsea footballers celebrated with a minimal 0:1 away to Everton in a match that lasted 90 minutes instead of 110 due to injuries to the players of both teams.
The first half was marked by Chelsea's better play and the injury of Everton's defender, Ben Godfrey, who had to leave the game in the 18th minute.
Referee Pawson extended the first half for a full eight minutes and it was in the last seconds that Jorginho scored the only goal of the game. Chilwell in Everton's penalty area was fouled by Ducure, after which referee Pawson pointed to the penalty spot, and Jorginho was the sure scorer.
In the second half, the rhythm of the game dropped and this part of the meeting was marked by the scores. First, in the 70th minute, Yerry Mina had to leave the field due to an injury, and five minutes later, Kalidou Koulibaly was injured on the opposite side. Due to injuries, Pawson extended the second half for 10 minutes, but neither Everton nor Chelsea managed to score a goal.
