Former Burnley manager Sean Dyche will be Everton's new strategist, Sky Sports reported.

Dych's name was among the candidates from the beginning, although he stood out as the favorite Marcelo Bielsa. However, the Argentine did not accept the offer, so the choice fell on the former leader of Burnley.

Bielsa's response was that he could start work possibly in the summer to have a full transfer window in front of him and prepare the squad from the start of the season.

Dyche at Everton replaces Frank Lampard who was sacked this week and will be Goodison Park's sixth manager in five years.
