The EU allocated 137 million euros for the armed forces of Moldova

The European Union allocated 137 million euros to strengthen the armed forces of Moldova, said the vice-president of the European Commission, Vera Jourova, and added that with this, Moldova is in second place according to the support received from the EU after Ukraine.
She participated in the debates on strengthening Moldova's resilience against Russian interference in view of the upcoming presidential elections and the constitutional referendum on EU integration on 20 October.
"As the elections and referendum approach, we clearly see Russia increasing its hybrid attacks on Moldova's stability. "Russia wants to undermine its efforts for European integration and return the country to its orbit of influence," Yurova stressed.
