Erdogan declared seven days of mourning

The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced seven days of mourning due to the catastrophic earthquake near Gaziantep, Anatolia reported.
The General Assembly of the United Nations honored the victims of the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria with a minute of silence.
At least 2.300 people died today in Turkey and Syria after a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 struck the south of Turkey.
The head of the disaster and emergency management agency stated that at least 1.498 people died in the country, and 8.533 were injured.
