Bishop Mr. Parthenius, who is visiting the Jerusalem Patriarchate with part of the Bigor brotherhood, participated in the liturgy at the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, the Bigor monastery announced.

- To stand in the place where the pure Body of the Immovable One lay, in the narrowness that gathered the one who spread the universe, is a work only of God's boundless mercy. The All-holy and Life-giving Tomb of the Lord. That narrow space, where a man must bow his head if he would enter it and must humble his pride if he would feel his grace in his heart, is the hotbed of some wondrous and unusually strong energy, which strengthens faith, renews hope, strengthens love. It is a lighthouse from which the life-giving rays of Christ's victory spread into infinity. It is a light-bearing torch that delights and warms the heart, brings comfort, illuminates with light, instills inexpressible peace, say Bigorski.

When, on the other hand, there, at that most holy place, at the Tomb of Christ's repose, where "the Only-begotten Son of God rested from His works" and resurrected three days later, the Sacrament of the Last Supper is served, when the flesh of Jesus is perfected on the altar on which Jesus was laid. the bloodless liturgical offering of the Body and Blood of Christ, the monastery adds, then words stop working, and only the silence of the interior contemplates the great mystery of our salvation in an indescribable way.

- Let all human flesh be silent and stand with fear and trembling and think nothing earthly..." No one speaks the way Christ is speaking to us now with His silence, and if we hear that silence of God, we will be given to understand it His victory which is already accomplished. And the glow of that victory of Life over death illuminated our souls at last night's resurrection vigil and at the Liturgy in the Holy and Living Sepulcher of the Lord, in the honorable Temple of the Resurrection, at which, with the blessing of His Beatitude, the Patriarch of Jerusalem Mr. d. Theophilus, to our highly respected and Blessed Archbishop Mr. d. Stefan and of course, to our beloved and Most Reverend Metropolitan Mr. Timotei, our beloved Elder, Bishop Antaniski Mr. Parthenius, emphasized from Bigorski monastery.

Bishop Partheniy worshiped together with the Archbishop of Jerapol, Mr. Isidor - Abbot of the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulcher, who also officiated the priestly act, the Metropolitan of Nevrokopsk, Mr. Seraphim from the Orthodox Church of Bulgaria and Bishop Serdopski Mr. Mitrofan of the Orthodox Church of Russia.

- Oh, if it were possible to express in words the mercy with which God has honored our most holy Ohrid Archdiocese, so that after so many centuries, a bishop from her thighs should stand and serve in the Tomb from which the Resurrection and the salvation of the world arose! And it was truly a glorious resurrection for all the children of Saint Clement's dignity, because the prayer of our Elder before the door that opened eternity was exactly that: blessing, enlightenment, mental and physical health, Christ's peace and joy for the children of our Church, as well as "unification of the holy Churches of God", according to the Savior's prayer "that they may all be one" (John 17,21:XNUMX), added by Bigorski.

In addition to the holy Archbishops, gathered around the Holy Kuvuklia, many priests from several local Orthodox Churches also served, and among them our brothers Archimandrite Dositei and hieromonk Kirill, assisted by the typist and canonarch Father Averkij, while hieromonk Anatoly, with his recognizable skill in Eastern the orthodox church singing, enriched the solemnity of the service, joining the psalting fathers of the choir.

Thousands of believers, partakers of the Holy Chalice of the Lord, from various countries of the world participated in the Divine Eucharist prayerfully, who literally filled the Temple of the Resurrection.

- Among them, again, to our great joy, there were also pilgrims from us, who came especially for this exceptional and holy event. The life-receiving Tomb of the Savior and on this Easter night, as always throughout history, proved to be the unifier of all peoples in the love of Christ, and praises to God sounded from it in many languages. This was, without a doubt, another historical pan-Orthodox celebration, which in the grace and love that radiated from it resembled a real Easter celebration, say the Bigor Monastery.
