Believe it or not, the employees of some Turkish companies take 20 minutes of their working time for a short nap, after which they return to work with full steam.

Bilal Salih, a business consultant from Istanbul, says that taking a short nap during work increases the productivity and creativity of employees, reports Anadolu Agency.

"Rest is a relative thing. A 20-minute nap is similar to drinking a cup of coffee, watching a short clip, chatting with a colleague, or doing any other activity during your break. A short nap of 20 minutes is vital for reducing stress and increasing productivity, because after a short rest we feel more energetic," explains Salih.

While napping is considered laziness in the work culture, Salih says the culture is now changing.

"Many companies have started using this method for employees to rest during work, which includes providing beds or sofas where employees can take a nap," Salih explained.
