While the Macedonian institutions silently follow the developments in the domestic public regarding the opening of the Bulgarian associations with contradictory names and have almost no mechanism to deal with them, the Bulgarian bots on the Internet, unlike the Macedonian state, do not tirelessly work.

Namely, on the day when Kiril Pejcinovic was proclaimed a saint by the head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church-Ohrid Archdiocese d. d. Stephen in Venerable St. Kiril Lesochki on saturday, bulgarian hackers attacked the internet encyclopedia Wikipedia. This latest stage of merciless Bulgarianization also affected the future Macedonian saint Kiril Pejcinović, declaring him a Bulgarian religious figure.

In the information published by the Bulgarian internet bots on the English version of Wikipedia, which has now been forcibly modified, it is also stated that he is the founder of modern Bulgaria and that he is one of the historical figures who over time were involved in promoting the early Bulgarian renaissance. Wikipedia also states that Pejčinović defended his "Macedonian" identity, speaking in Bulgarian in his native Bulgaria.

Commenting on these developments exclusively for Free Press Alexander Pejchinovski who is actually a direct descendant of the Macedonian revivalist Kiril Pejcinović says that he is appalled by this matter, which he says he found out after talking to his friends.

- I got the information from close friends. My reaction, as well as theirs, was astounded and uncomfortable. This is so because this attack on the work of Kiril Pejčinović came at a time when the process of proclaiming the venerable Kiril Pejčinonović as saint Kiril Lešochki was taking place in the Leshok monastery with a divine service, with the Holy Divine Bishop's Liturgy in the Tetovo cathedral church "Saints Cyril and Methodius". Simply put, I am disgusted by the act itself - Pejcinovski points out.

At the same time, Aleksandar asks if the Macedonian institutions are planning to take over anything.

- I am convinced and I know one thing, and that is that my chukun-chukun grandfather Pejčinović, with his sermons and writings, as well as with his overall activity, stood out in the revival period at a time when our people needed a lesson on how to love God, how to he loves people and why he should keep his script and his Macedonian language. He was a Macedonian who lived and worked at a time when this country was under the management of some other countries, but his sense of belonging to the Macedonian nation never left him - adds Pejchinovski.

This kind of attack on Macedonian historical figures who are identity-related to the Macedonian people is not the first case. Online encyclopedias are under constant attacks, i.e. violent changes to their contents where they write about Macedonia, Macedonian actors, historical figures, etc.

By the way, this weekend marked the 250th anniversary of the birth of the Macedonian educator, national creator and teacher and restorer of the Lešok monastery, abbot Kiril Pejčinović-Tetoec, with a solemn academy, held on the plateau in front of the Tetovo Region Museum.

The event was organized by the Commission for Relations between Religious Communities and Religious Groups, and was attended by numerous guests from the Macedonian Orthodox Church, led by Archbishop Mr. d. Stefan, MPs in the Assembly, personalities from science and education and a large number of residents of Tetovo and the surrounding areas.
