EXCLUSIVE Brima poll: How to vote if there are parliamentary elections tomorrow
The regular political barometer of the "Brima" agency for the political views of the population in the Republic of Northern Macedonia in the run-up to the local elections in the country is a field survey, conducted in the period from August 27 to September 9 this year on a nationally representative sample (the survey was conducted by face-to-face method, at the respondent's home), observing all demographic characteristics of the population aged 18+ in the country, which includes 1.201 respondents. The results have an error margin of +/- 2,8%.
Given the current electoral reality in the country, the general question "If parliamentary elections were held today, which political party or coalition would you vote for?", the results are as follows:
According SDSM would vote 19,5% from the respondents, and for VMRO-DPMNE 17,5%. For DUI opted for 7,2%, but for Alliance for Albanians 6%. From the respondents, for the Movement BESA opted for 4,7%, as much as for Left (4,7%), and the last with a rating of over 1% is DPA for which 1,1% would vote of respondents. All other parties are under 1% support among the voters interviewed in this survey.
However, the uncertainty remains given that 3,7% of respondents said they would not vote or "issue an invalid ballot" in elections, others 12,7% have not decided yet for whom they will vote, that will not vote 9,3% voted surveyed, those who do not know if they will vote 3,7%, and those who refused to answer this question are 7,3% from the respondents. The total score of all these categories is close to a high 40% of the respondents.
However, in this August-September wave of Omnibus research of "Brima", additional questions were included regarding the turnout in the upcoming local elections. At this point, before the official start of political campaigns, 44,2% of respondents say they are "very likely" to go out and vote in local elections, and 30.5% say they are "likely to go out".
