"Aegean Airlines" cancels the Skopje-Sarajevo route from November 29
The Greek airline "Aegean Airlines" will stop flights between Skopje and Sarajevo from November 29, after more than a year of operating this route, the specialized portal "XU Aviation" reported.
Aegean Airlines, it said, initially planned to operate the route three times a week in November and December and twice a week from January. It then planned flights until December 7, with limited operation during the holiday period from late December to early January, but has now canceled all flights from late November.
Ticket sales on the route for the 2025 summer season have also been suspended.
At the end of August, "XU Aviation" announced that "Aegean Airlines" will reduce the number of flights on the Athens-Skopje route in the winter season and will serve it four times a week, which is a reduction compared to the six flights a week in the previous winter season. The Skopje-Athens line, after a ten-year break, has been operational since November 2018.
