One dead in apartment building fire in China

One person was killed and three were injured this morning in an explosion in an apartment building in Harbin, the capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang province, local authorities said.

The accident, which is suspected to have been caused by an explosion of a gas tank, happened this morning at around 7 o'clock, and the injured are not in danger, according to the announcement.

As the Xinhua agency reports, an investigation into the causes of the explosion is underway.
