The French actor Lucas Bravo, who is best known for his role as Gabriel in the popular Netflix series, "Emily in Paris" he is not sure if he wants to appear in the fifth season of the series. This year saw the release of the fourth season of the series, in which a new love interest appeared in the life of the character Emily (Lily Collins), the Italian businessman Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini).

Many fans were disappointed with the way the character of Gabriel behaved, and it seems that their opinion is shared by the actor himself. In a recent interview with IdniWire, he expressed his displeasure with the direction his character was taking and talked about how he's reconsidering his decision to participate in the show's fifth season.

"Sexy Chef was a big part of me in the first season, and later we drifted further and further apart because of the choices Gabriel makes and the direction they take him. I've never been more different from him than I am now," Bravo commented, adding that Gabriel is "a little unaware of his surroundings" and "is constantly portrayed as a victim."

Bravo is not sure if he wants to be a part of the show's fifth season. He believes that Gabriel's character is currently a manipulation of everyone, which is why filming the series is no longer exciting for him.

"Filming has stopped being fun for me when I see a character that I love so much and who has given me so much slowly turn into something impersonal. Not much can be done within the constraints of the script. I've tried for years to bring in nuances, but we don't have much freedom on set, we can't change the word or the emotion. They know exactly what they want, and we just have to adapt," he explained.

Because of all this, Bravo isn't sure if it even wants to be a part of the upcoming fifth season of the series, which airs on Netflix starting in 2020.

A real surprise for fans: Brigitte Macron will appear in the fourth season of "Emily in Paris"
