The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated today that he plans to remain in office despite the resignation of the two ministers from his government, Sajid Javid и Rishi Sunak, as well as the departure of part of the staff. Johnson told MPs that "the prime minister's job, when there are difficult circumstances, is to move on".

Johnson's hold on power has been shaken by the resignations of Finance Minister Sunak and Health Secretary Javid.

Both resigned yesterday, stressing that they could no longer support Johnson over his handling of ethics scandals, including the case of a senior official accused of sexual harassment.

Johnson quickly replaced the two ministers, appointing him Steve Barkley in Javid's place, while Nadeem Zahavi will be finance minister.

However, according to British media, Johnson's support in the Conservative Party is rapidly declining. Opponents hope to change the party's rules so Johnson can be re-elected. Last month, members of his party voted for his confidence – 41 percent were against Johnson.
