Jason Momoa talked about career failures: The actor is ashamed of the role of Conan the Barbarian
Jason Momoa recently opened up about career setbacks and a role he's not proud of.
Momoa, who stars in upcoming action blockbusters such as Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and the tenth installment of Fast and Furious, admitted to British GQ that a certain project can be fun to shoot, but end up with the final project not looking right due to post-production glitches.
"I've been a part of a lot of things that were really bad and movies where things were out of my control," Momoa said, adding that 2011's "Conan the Barbarian" was one of them.

"It was one of the best experiences, but it turned into a big pile of f******," said the actor.
Momoa didn't go into detail about what specifically bothered him about the Conan the Barbarian movie where he played the lead role, but it's not surprising that he feels that way. The film, unlike the original 1980s versions starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, failed at the box office and received poor reviews.

Upon the film's release, The Hollywood Reporter critic Kirk Honeycutt wrote that "the film serves no other purpose than casual outrage, primitive savagery, and sado-masochistic eroticism."
"The film is silly and mind-numbing, with a protagonist indistinguishable from his villains," Honeycutt wrote in the review.
