Serbian composer Cornelius Kovacs died on this day two years ago, and left behind numerous musical compositions that are still considered true evergreens.

His daughters Alexandra и Christina followed his path and built a successful career as singers and composers of entertainment music.

Alexandra remembered her father today and dedicated an emotional post to him on her Instagram profile.

"Two years ago, on this day, Cornelie Kovac left us - the greatest musical legend who ever lived in these areas and my father.

I miss you so much, cruelly and irrevocably. I miss singing while you play the piano, because it was always a unique experience for me. We listened to each other, felt each other's nuances of musicianship and went to some other, timeless place where we were connected by an invisible thread, made of love and music.

I miss you calling me to check on me, kissing you on the forehead and listening to you play for hours. But most of all I miss your smile, strength, kindness, love and calmness.

I love you until the end of the music and back," Alexandra wrote on her Instagram profile.
