Two dead in Russian school shooting
The shooting at a school in the Russian city of Bryansk near the border with Ukraine ended today with two victims, Russian media reported, citing the regional administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to initial information, a 14-year-old student entered the school building and shot at her classmates several times with a gun, which was the legal property of her father.
The teenager, who was in the eighth grade, wounded six of her classmates, after which she committed suicide. Later, one of the injured students died in hospital.
- One of the injured is in serious condition and has undergone surgery. The other four injured are in a moderate condition, said an assistant to the Russian Minister of Health.
According to the information from the investigation, the girl shot her classmates because of a conflict with them.
