Two police helicopters with more than 30 tons of water were involved in localizing the fire under Solunska Glava
Today, the Ministry of the Interior acted on the fire in the area of the village of Belica, Municipality of Makedonski Brod, in the locality of "Argulica" under Solunska Glava, reported during yesterday, which affected low-stemmed forest, grass and bushes.
With the coordination of the Center for crisis management in extinguishing the fire, in addition to the team of firefighters of TPPE Makedonski Brod and of PE "National Forests", subsidiary "Sandanski", as well as a plane of the SSO, due to the danger of the fire spreading to the pine forest, in inaccessible and rocky terrain, two helicopters of the Ministry of the Interior from the Department of Aviation Units, of the type Bel-212 and Bel-412, were called to help, which with the fire-fighting bucket, with which they are equipped, on several occasions threw out over 30 tons water and contributed to localizing the fire.
