DUI decided: Talat Xhaferi will technically be the prime minister until the elections

The central presidency of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) at a meeting at the party headquarters decided that the current Speaker of the Assembly, Talat Xhaferi, will technically be the Prime Minister from January 28 ahead of the elections in the spring.

The spokesperson of DUI, Bujar Osmani, announced on his Facebook profile the other decisions from the meeting of the party Presidency in Mala Recica regarding the participation of DUI in the presidential and parliamentary elections in 2024.

-Fatmir Besimi has been elected head of the Central Election Headquarters for the 2024 elections. The party president is authorized to continue talks with political parties and decide on possible coalitions for the presidential and parliamentary elections, Osmani announced on Facebook.
