Dua Lipa became the honorary ambassador of Kosovo
The president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, on Friday presented the title of "honorary ambassador of Kosovo" to the world-famous singer Dua Lipa.
On that occasion, Osmani "on behalf of all the citizens of Kosovo thanked Lipa for everything she did to make the voice of Kosovo heard all over the world", it is stated in her announcement on Facebook.
Osmani added that Dua Lipa uses her voice and talent, not only to offer the world songs that leave a mark, but, as she stated, "to present the best image of Kosovo everywhere in the world."
By the way, the British singer of Kosovar origin, Dua Lipa, is staying in Pristina these days, where she gathered her fans, for her four-day festival “Sunny hil" in Pristina on August 4.
At the press conference before the start of the festival, Lipa said that there is no better feeling than performing in Pristina.
The festival is organized by Dua Lipa and her father's "Sunny Hill" foundation of the same name Dukagyin.
At this festival, in addition to the Kosovar artists, they also perform Diplo, J Balvin, Skepta, AJ Tracy, as well as the Eurovision representatives of Italy Mahmoud и Blank.

Sunny Hill Festival was created by Dua Lipa and her father Dukagyin in 2018. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, two editions of the festival were postponed. "Sunny Hill", except in Kosovo, brings big stars in Tirana, Albania, where it will be held at the end of the month, from August 26 to 28.
By the way, Dua Lipa, who has been living in Britain for many years, always emphasizes the strong connection with Kosovo.
