During the second half of 2021, the suspected Belgian citizen, intending to use the sexual services of a child, researched online in Belgium and found out about children that he could easily access. In order to carry out his plan, he chose Macedonia and got in touch with a Macedonian citizen who connected him with the other two suspects, parents of six minor children.

The first suspect came several times through the International Airport "Skopje"Where he was welcomed by the two suspects and their minor children. In order to gain material benefits and move to Belgium, they agreed to a monetary compensation, to allow the first suspect to use sexual services on his thirteen-year-old daughter, and then to marry her. To this end, abusing their position as parents of the juvenile victim, they allowed the first suspect to stay with them in the house where the family lived.

He manipulated the girl that he loved her and gave her gold jewelry - a wedding ring and a gold necklace, and gave the parents money for the needs of the family. The child's parents helped the first suspect on a daily basis with the ultimate goal of taking the minor child to the Kingdom of Belgium under the pretext of forced marriage, where he allegedly married her, and allowed him to establish a relationship of trust and emotional closeness with the girl. Abusing her trust, the first suspect had sexual acts with the girl until 16.05.2022 when the police officers discovered the event.

Today, at the proposal of the Public Prosecutor, the Preliminary Procedure Judge at the Basic Criminal Court Skopje with a Decision determined a measure of detention for 30 days for the three suspects.

High criminal sentences of at least ten and 14 years for a Belgian citizen, respectively, have been threatened for the crimes committed against the suspect's parents.
