Donation of 255 air purifiers – will be distributed to hospitals, kindergartens, schools

The Government today signed an agreement with the company ECOTIP Macedonia for the donation of 255 air purification devices worth one million euros.

These devices will be distributed to hospitals, kindergartens, schools and other public institutions.

Marija Miteva, the government spokesperson, hopes that this example will serve as an inspiration for other companies to join in contributing to the common fight for cleaner air and, of course, a healthier society.

– Air pollution remains one of the most serious environmental and health challenges in Macedonia. In the context of the Government's efforts to take significant measures to reduce air pollution through capital projects, as a Government we are actively working on long-term strategies and solutions to reduce pollution, through investments in sustainable energy solutions, increased emission control and support for green technologies. However, while the implementation of these measures takes time, such quick and efficient donations from the private sector are essential for protecting, above all, the health of citizens – said Miteva at a press conference.
