Food prices are rising day by day. To save on the domestic budget, you need to learn a few tricks. If you follow the following tips, the food will last you longer and thus you will save double.

1. Continue the life of the onion and garlic - keep them in paper bags with holes. They will be fresh and firm three months after purchase.

2. Keep apples close to potatoes to prevent them from germinating.

3. Store mushrooms in a paper bag, not in a plastic or plastic container.

4. Store the milk in the middle of the refrigerator, not on the doors, because at that temperature it will spoil faster.

5. Store the eggs on the middle shelf of the refrigerator to last 3-4 weeks longer than the specified shelf life.

6. Freeze the bread. Freezing food prolongs the life of many products, including bread (put it in a bag before freezing). If you want to continue the freshness of the bread, it is enough to put a celery stalk in the bread bag.

7. In the fridge, put the old food in front of the fresh one, so that it is within your reach and you should eat it first.

8. Store tomatoes at room temperature, not in the refrigerator. Place the washed tomatoes in a dish lined with a cloth so that each loop should be on top. Leave the plate at room temperature, avoiding sun and heat. The refrigerator destroys the natural taste of the tomato and changes its texture, regardless of that which delays its decay. Tomatoes can stay fresh at room temperature for a maximum of two to three days, so do not buy large quantities.

9. Wrap the tops of the bananas in foil so they will last 3 to 5 days longer. Or split up bananas - will last longer and darken more slowly.

10. When cutting the cheese, do not touch it with your fingers. Bacteria from your hands will accelerate the growth of mold, so the cheese will be fresh for a short time. Therefore, every time you cut the cheese, hold your hand through the self-adhesive foil.

11. Store cereals in the refrigerator to keep them fresh for longer and to prevent them from germinating and decaying.

12. Keep the cheese in a cardboard box or together with the salad. Before putting the cheese in the fridge, take it out of the package, wrap it in paper and cover it with a plastic bag. Then put it in a small cardboard box, or leave it in the same drawer where your salad stands. Every cheese contains healthy bacteria, which need moisture and oxygen to survive. If you store the cheese in this way, they will stay on it longer, and so will the cheeseit will stay mold-free longer.

13. Put the potatoes and onions in two different bags and make sure they are not completely closed. Keep them separate in a dark and cool place, where the temperature is between seven and 12 degrees. When onions and potatoes are stored in the same container or bag, a chemical reaction occurs between them, so they spoil faster.

14. Vinegar is very good for preserving the freshness of berries. Wash the fruit with three glasses of water and one glass of vinegar, then wash it again and leave it to dry. Then place the fruit in a cloth-lined container and close it, but be sure to leave the lid slightly open to allow moisture to evaporate from the container. Acetic acid from vinegar will kill unnecessary bacteria and keep the fruit fresh for days or even weeks.
