Doctor Daniel Kirovski from Valandovo went to the border crossing between Bulgaria and Romania to provide medical assistance to refugees from the war in Ukraine, where the situation is escalating and forcing more and more people to flee their homes.

The National Association of Volunteers has gathered over 70 doctors, including Dr. Kirovski from Valandovo, who voluntarily and free of charge examine and provide medical assistance to refugees from crisis regions in Ukraine who arrive at reception centers on the border between Bulgaria and Romania.

- From the long and arduous journey, the refugees usually have problems with allergies, respiratory diseases and diarrhea, but many of them have both oncological and rheumatic diseases. We hope that this war will end as soon as possible, and with it the refugee suffering, said Dr. Kirovski.
