The State Attorney of New York, Leticia James, said that she is ready to begin the process of confiscation of the assets of former US President Donald Trump, if he cannot pay the $454,8 million determined by the judgment.

On Friday, Trump was ordered to pay $354,8 million and an additional $100 million in interest after Judge Arthur Engoron found that the former US president misrepresented his net worth to get better loan terms.

- If he doesn't have the means to pay, we will look for enforcement mechanisms in court and ask the judge to seize his property, James said in an interview with ABC News.
