The devil is in the details when it comes to Megan Fox's engagement ring from Machine Gun Kelly!

"Rings are actually thorns," Machine Gunner Kelly told Vogue about the unique two-stone engagement ring of new fiancée Megan Fox.

The musician, whose real name is Colson Baker, and the actress opened for Vogue last weekend in Milan, where they were the exclusive guests of the menswear show of "Dolce & Gabanna" season autumn / winter 2022-23, where the 31-year-old Kelly pointed out that the engagement ring with two stones on his new fiancée are "rings that are actually thorns".

"So if he tries to take it out, it hurts," the Bloody Valentine musician added, mocking: "Love is pain!"

"It's a purebred Colombian emerald, raw. He was just dug into a tear, straight from the mine. And the diamond was straight from Stephen Webster. The concept is that the ring can be disassembled to make two rings. When together, hold in place with a magnet. So, you see how it merges? "And then it forms a vague heart," Kelly said of Fox's unique jewelry.

In addition to his engagement announcement last week, Kelly shared a close-up video of the beautiful emerald and diamond luster she made to order with designer Webster for the occasion.

In the video, pear stones tremble as the 35-year-old actress moves her arm. In the caption of his post, the artist explained the design of the selection.

"I know tradition is a ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) placed on two magnetic strips of thorns that merge into two halves. "The soul forms the vague heart that is our love," he wrote.

While MGK explained in detail the idea behind the design, designer Stephen Webster explained in detail the performance of the unique idea.

"With the use of magnets buried in gold, the rings are attracted to each other and lie perfectly together on the finger. "It's a detail that is both modern and quite remarkable."

Although Webster did not disclose the price of Fox's engagement ring, diamond experts estimate it to be worth $ 500.000.

"This style of 'Toi et Moi' [you and I] has a very unique look. The beautiful white diamond and the green emerald really compliment each other. "They really look like top quality, because the ring cost about $ 300.000," said jewelry designer Mark Brumand.

Sahar Manley, owner of the Camila Sereti jewelry label, thinks it could be worth a little more.

"Each gem seems to be 7 carats, which would make the ring worth almost $ 500.000. "Hiring an expert like Stephen Webster to perfect the custom ring was a smart and careful move to really master the piece."
