The SEC announced the final results of the first round: VMRO-DPMNE with 18 council seats, SDSM with 12

According to the final results of the State Election Commission VMRO - DPMNE in the city of Skopje won 18 council seats where the holder of the list is university professor Trajko Slavevski. SDSM won 12 councilors. DUI will have five council seats in the city council, while the Left will have four.

The city council also includes two independent candidates from the "Green Human City", as well as two councilors of the Alliance - Alternative. The coalition of Liberal Democratic Party and DOM also won two council seats.

The council has 45 councilors, and a majority requires 23 councilors.

Holder of the list of VMRO-DPMNE is Professor Trajko Slaveski, and on the opposition list are Vladimir Neloski, Marija Andonovska, Luke Galeski, Malisa Stankovic, Zaklina Shopova, Stefan Andonovski, Aleksandar Trajanovski, Emilija Angelova…

Holder of the list of SDSM is the director of the Clinic for Plastic Surgery, Sofija Pejkova, then Martin Popov, Drita Ismjali Baftiri, Ljubica Janceva, Goran Arsov, but Gabriel Bajram, the son of the late leader of the Roma Union, Amdi Bajram, also became an advisor.

The Left in the Council will be led by Redzep Ismail, and the "Green Human City" will be represented by the former councilor from the "Left", Dragana Velkovska and Gorjan Jovanovski.
